Voice Interaction for Kids' Toys

A toy in hand, a voice that answers back.

Bontoys by Benran brings voice modules and scenario-based dialogue to existing toys. Children still drive play with their hands and words; the toy responds only at the right moment.

For children aged 3–6. A physical prototype is ready; photos and demo materials are shared once the confidentiality scope is confirmed.

What goes into an existing toy is more than a speaker.

How one module becomes the right response.

Voice module

Handles audio capture, playback, and on-device runtime conditions.

Dialogue scripts

Turns characters, props, and game progress into responsive content.

Scenario rules

Define when to wait, when to prompt, and when to stop pressing.

Product interface

Align dimensions, power, openings, assembly, and certification with brands and factories.

Prototype dossier

The prototype exists; public evidence stays confidential

Productization steps

Every step moves forward, and keeps a stop line.

  1. Read the existing play first

ActionLook at age, characters, props, and how children use it.

Stop lineIf voice adds no clear value, explain why here.

  2. Then review the structure

ActionCheck dimensions, power, openings, assembly, and certification.

Stop lineIf structural cost is too high, adjust scope first—don't rush a prototype.

  3. Integrate the prototype

ActionValidate the module, scripts, and a real stretch of play together.

Stop lineIf responses interrupt play, go back to scripts and pacing.

  4. Decide on mass production

ActionAfter the prototype passes, confirm supply, testing, and delivery.

Stop lineIf conditions aren't ready, keep the prototype conclusions without committing to production.

Our name

The nature of children delights in play and dreads restraint.

Wang Yangming, Outline of Teaching the Young

This line speaks to children's nature, not the origin of our brand name. It reminds us: responses should follow the play already happening, not decide for the child.

Bontoys by Benran draws inspiration from this heritage: see first how children naturally play, then let responses keep the play going.
